An End to the Noah Ringer Race Speculation
Entertainment Weekly recently did interviews with a series of young hollywood actors. One of those actors was Noah Ringer. For the first time, we have an authoritative statement about his ethnic background:

From Entertainment Weekly:

Ringer, who's of American Indian heritage, still lives in Dallas with his parents. He recently completed his second film, the Jon Favreau-directed Cowboys & Aliens, starring Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford.

I know people have been wondering - there is your answer!

And, thus, does the argument that Noah Ringer is not of Asian descent go up in smoke and flames. LOL

Because Native Americans originally traveled to North America by crossing the Bering Straight from Asia.

If everyone who "assumed Aang was white, because no one told them otherwise, and so he was white by default" are racist, then anyone who "assumed Noah was white, no one told them otherwise, and so he was white by default" are also racist.

I do want to point out that he's "of American Indian Heritage" - which implies he's partial, not fully Native American.
